RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND CANCELLATIONS
DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
“Donation” means any sum of money given to the Future Centre Trust in order to assist with its programming, operations, or for any other reason, with no expectation of goods or services in return, except for those instances of corporate sponsorship;
“Recurring donation” refers to a donation where the donor has authorised a payment at different intervals.
“Sponsorship” refers to instances where corporations or other institutions grant the FUTURE CENTRE TRUST a sum of money with expectation of agreed-upon services to be performed such as increased publicity or marketing;
“Terms and Conditions” means the terms and conditions as set out in this document.
“We” means Future Centre Trust. “Us” and “Our” shall be read accordingly.
“You” means you or anybody who in Our reasonable opinion is acting with your authority or permission. “Your” shall be read accordingly.
Donations made in Barbados by Barbadian citizens are considered tax-deductible. To ensure proper processing of your tax-deduction, please include your TAMIS number with your donation.
IF EXCESS DONATIONS ARE RAISED
If any donations are raised in excess of the initially-noted target, if there is such in existence, excess donations will be directed to where benefits the Museum most effectively.
IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL YOUR DONATION
You have the right to cancel a recurring donation by giving seven (7) calendar days’ notice in writing by emailing our offices or by sending mail.
IF YOU WISH TO RETURN YOUR DONATION
The FUTURE CENTRE TRUST customarily does not return donations made to it. However, please contact us if you have:
MADE A PAYMENT IN ERROR
If you have made a payment in error, please inform us within seven (7) calendar days in writing by emailing our offices or by sending mail. We will do our best to refund your donation if this is possible.
Membership to the FUTURE CENTRE TRUST is NOT tax-deductible under the laws of Barbados.
IF YOU CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP
You have the right to cancel your membership by giving seven (7) calendar days’ notice in writing by emailing our offices or by sending mail to our address. Membership is typically not reimbursed once cancelled
